The 1989 Subaru SVX ItalDesign Concept made it into production nearly in concept form, except for a few small details.

I loved my Solstice and waited years for the production model to come out.

The late great Isuzu Vehicross. Concept looked nearly identical to production version. Both ugly; but both charming in their weird way. It really was one of the rare concept cars you could actually own.

This is a 1991 Honda Civic DX. I purchased one exactly like it (minus the ugly black wheels) brand new. It remains the single best vehicle I've ever owned - bar none. It was a 5speed stick, with quick responsive steering, and a good light clutch. It was low to the ground so you felt like you were going a million miles…

Brawn's double diffuser. It put them so far ahead early in the 2009 championship that by the time other teams caught up, even with Brawn running at a fraction of their resources, the championship was already won.
