We don’t hate Tebow. I mostly like Tebow. We hate exactly what this: writers and sports media pundits writing about him like he’s a hall of famer and shoving TEBOWTEBOWTEBOW down our throats despite the fact that he hasn’t accomplished anything notable in pro sports for like 5-6 years.

You have to be a special kind of asshole to refuse funeral services to someone. I have heard of churches doing this, too. This person’s loved ones are experiencing soul-crushing grief. You don’t have to be the humanitarian of the year to show some compassion.

Scientology is a cult. That fact that you’re unable to make the distinction between a religion and a cult pretty much destroys the credibility of your argument.

You’re talking about medieval practices as if we’re still living there. Holy texts may have been limited to wealthy people back then it doesn’t mean Scientology is right to charge its followers to read them.

Well, okay, quick thought experiment: what’s the difference apart from the length of time that they’ve been around? Like what really distinguishes any of the major religions from scientology?

People don’t have to pay millions of dollars to become more “spiritual” in Islam or Christianity.

Scientology is really not comparable to Islam, or any other established faith with centuries of history and millions upon millions of followers.
