This is just reason #100 I hate the ways we Americans work. 40 hour work week, shitty maternity leave, zero paternity leave, crappy rules on Time off/sick pay, etc etc. Not a lot of respect for the American worker that is for sure.

I’ve found that respect is more likely to come from a combination of high-level competence and good boundaries.
