I haven’t read either of those books, and I haven’t posted anything in support of either one, so it’s hard to understand what your point is supposed to be in this context. I feel like this same story repeats itself on a regular basis. There should be professional development on “ideas that you think are so clever and engaging that are really racist, so don’t do them”.

The Hyde Amendment is a spending provision, so I think that, if they try to get rid of it during a budget reconciliation, that would only need a simple majority.
