If you watch the wedding scene there are several black extras, though I'd rather not have a black servant in the film.

If it was a choice between the two I'd rather work with Effie, but I wouldn't work with either if I had my druthers.

She is childish too though, and where I see, that's far worse than being a bitch. She lied to exec about what she told Jason and practically through a party when Farrelly (a much more experienced producer with a better reputation who bought NAME RECOGNITION to the project) quit. She's not just a bitch she's

It is a pretty awesome crossword puzzle, but their Sodoku is crap, probably because white people make it. (As someone who is mostly white I can make this joke)

it's illegal for them to film at night WITHOUT THE SIGNATURES. That's what I was saying. The reason she couldn't get the signatures was because she didn't have the time to. YOu try to get that many signatures in Beverly Hills in that amount of time. Good luck!

The first.

The producer is the organizer. THe director is the artistic force. In the industry you don't hear people calling a fil "Brian Grazer's movie" they call it "Ron Howard's". Regardless the fact Effie told Jason he could do the stunt his way (and yes that IS what she said) and then denied saying that was the last straw

White people aren't given chance after chance either if they don't produce. No one cares if you don't make them money in Hollywood. Richard Kelly may be a white man, but he's not making a ton of films this day is he?

Tradition. The Executive producer is actually the big boss, the producer is the workhorse but it's really the director's movie.

The review is wrong. I've watched the episode several times and rewound that seen to see what she said to make sure. She said that the stunt would be DONE THE WAY HE WANTED, not close. THe reviewer got it wrong. She siad in the interview later on it was close.

They had a couple DAYS to do that. It's still the alw in Beverly Hills too BTW.

She's not a manager or a supervisor, it's the DIRECTORS film, I've worked on films before and producers refer to the film as the director's film on every set I've been on.

Yes because it's SOOOO professional to tell Jason "We'll do the stunt the way you want to" and then deny saying that the next day. She's a shcmuck. And Marc is a professional all the time.

Learning curve or not he should know not to wait until literally the last minute to pick a location. Especially with everyone telling him that. He should listen to people with more experience with him. He's an idiot, I don't care if he's new to the industry or not.

Are you kidding? He's fought them tooth and nail the whole way. He's tried to get them to shoot in Connecticut for Christ's sake. The film argument wasn't being difficult? Are you watching the same show as I am?

Getting those signatures ARE law. You have to get those signatures by the law (I've done that before). And no that wasn' Effie's fault but Jason's for selecting the location so late.

BTW You can shoot a film in 20 days for less than $1 Million on film with Union wages in LA. I've known people who've done it. There are agreements to make the wages lower from budgets less than $5 Million and wages are lower for things done for TV than for theatrical (especially TV movies, which have the lowest union

For the ten thousandth time: there is no way that Effie could have solved the night problem. It's against Los Angeles law to shoot at night without ALL the neighbors that are affected giving permission. There was NO WAY she could have fixed that. NONE. Effie does a lot of things wrong but that is not one of them. I

I agree he's unprofessional, but so is Effie. They're both terrible for the film business and should be working at McDonald's.

I work in the business and would't work with either.
