You're infering so much from one tiny paragraph. Or maybe I should say you're projecting an awful lot.

I think obviously a trans actor should have been hired, but I also think this actor's comments are not ignorant or transphobic. The costume aspect of any biography or period film is essential in creating the film's mood, and so for him to dress up as the woman he was portraying (who did at times dress femininely)

He was even more cautious than that; he is "beginning to embark", as in beginning to begin. Also, the first words out of Redmayne's mouth were actually that he was talking to trans women and hearing their experiences. The post was quite uncharitable and condescending. "Eddie, Eddie, Eddie..."

I thought he was simply describing the ways he's preparing for this role, no? One way is speaking to transgender women and learning about their experiences. Another way is wearing dresses and make-up (things I assume are new for him). I'm sure he's doing a ton of other research for what is sure to be a challenging

" I have put on dresses and wigs and makeup. I'm beginning to embark on that and trying to find out who she is."

What happened to your friend has absolutely nothing to do with this situation at all.

What happened to your friend is awful and I'm sorry. But, frankly, I don't see how it's related to this woman's work to bring attention to the issue of medically assisted suicide in the face of quickly degrading health.

I'm glad his neighbor wasn't the type to slam their door in your friend's nose and state "I couldn't care less."

There's this guy in my boyfriend's MTG group that used to always wear fedora. He moved away for a few months and when he came back the fedora was gone and he had a girlfriend. I'm 1000% those two things are related.

I just blew $5,500 on clothes and scarves. I can't afford to shower too.

The vast majority of men I have known who have complained about the "Friendzone" really could have used two key pieces of advice:

It would seem so. Kind of shady to put it all the way at the end like that.

I think this phrase speaks to the motivation behind rape, which is to ruin someone and permanently fuck them up. And to permanently have a sense of power from having (from the rapist's point of view) annihilated someone.

It's like a racial Victor Victoria.

Why?

Sometimes you try for Axl Rose and end up Brett Michaels.

I love that family more than I love my own.

At least we are spared that "where am I" facial expression.

North West's costume is surprisingly tasteful. I am just going to assume the nanny picked it out.

Katie Perry has access to every manner of special effect artist and costumer. She's built a career out of campy, outlandish outfits. And she decides to become a cheeto for halloween. That's baller.
