Also same - but 1890, Nouveau, and great great grandma. It was from her third (!) marriage.
I mostly wear a $30 silicone ring though, because I am a makerspace teacher and I’m constantly rough on my hands. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If I remember correctly, that deduction is now no longer in effect.

I’m a high school makerspace teacher, and I also run an after school art car club, and I would say I easily spend $1k a year on consumable supplies, snacks, replacing broken items, etc. :/

I’m a 25-year-old high school teacher and have legitimately thought to myself “I need an adult” a couple times, only to sadly realize that I *am* the adult.

I’d like to think I’m not terrible, but damn, it is hard.

My dad got me some Wusthof knives as a college graduation present, and I maintain that it is the best gift I’ve ever received. They are awesome and I use them just about every day.

My mom always told me there would always be someone prettier than me, smarter than me, and/or luckier than me no matter where I went.

Came to say the same. “If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.”

+1 to this rec. Enlightening stuff, especially about the Susan G. Komen foundation.

I grew up in Texas and I was told to call parents/adults by Mr./Ms. Whatever, but 90% of the time (with the exception of teachers) they would just go “Oh, call me FirstName.” I had friends that called my mom Ms. Marcie (her first name), despite her insistence on just being Marcie.

I’m a teacher and often just get

Sulfates, I think?
