They’d offered everyone the option of $400, later increased to $800, a new ticket, and a hotel room for the night. That nobody thought this was enough should have been taken as a hint, rather than as some sort of act of war.

Your rights were basically forfeit the second you purchased the ticket. Passengers agree to being bumped (with compensation) whether they read the fine print or not. Dude probably should have read the fine print. The police shouldn’t have body slammed him.

I expect this won’t be the first time Jared Kushner got stuffed into a gym locker.

I mean for fuck’s sake.

“Shortly after “alt-right” poster-boy Steve Bannon reportedly called Jared Kushner a “cuck,” signaling an escalating battle in the White House between the “Bannonites” and the “globalists,” Donald Trump bucked his isolationist promises and launched a military strike against the Syrian government”

Fuck I just remembered we signed Mike Glennon.

All of your comments in this thread have been goofy, and this latest one is no exception. Of course, Obama could have launched a missile strike without authorization. He could’ve done a lot of things. What he did do, when the Republicans refused to authorize his plans for striking against Assad, was stop the Syrians

This is where Trump’s constant attacks on the dignity of the presidency really hit me. How to respond to Syria and Assad is an incredibly difficult question, with bad options on either side. It demands a serious, well thought out answer. I don’t think Obama handled it well, but I also don’t think there was or is an

As I seem to recall, Obama went to Congress for permission to use military force; Congress (the GoP, that is) chose not to give him that permission.

It turns my stomach that we have someone in the White House as ignorant of the consequences of military action as you are.

He didn’t attack the Assad regime directly because it wouldn’t DO anything. Assad isn’t going anywhere.

Well, whatever he did, Obama did enough to get Assad to stop using chemical weapons. Which this President promptly encouraged in his first 13 11 weeks in office. Don’t believe me? Maybe let’s ask a Republican Senator...

Where in the world did you get the impression that Obama didn’t drop any bombs in Syria?

“Even beautiful babies were cruelly murdered in this very barbaric attack.”

Easy to call missiles “small in scale” when it’s not your head they’re landing on

Here’s Tillerson’s

Oh good. The States has never had issues removing crazy power mad leaders in the middle east through force before. This will be fun to learn this lesson for the first time.

Has Secretary of State Kushner released a statement yet?

“What advantages does this war have over, say, an ethnic cleansing, which I could also afford?”
