I agree with your conclusions here. The Martian novel was so much a series of how Mark responded and didn’t give up, even though everything was contrived.

The graphic novels it is based on is definitely horror, but a very slow burning, building one. The horror aspects are more explored there, although there is not a big difference. The bad guys are presented as much more evil and harder to take out.

I have been loving Locke and Key so far. I haven’t finished the season yet, but so far have really enjoyed most of the show...with Echo being as terrifying on the screen as in the graphic novels. It is a very well done adaptation, imo.

+2 twins in an already Full House

I lived in central Russia (Perm, Ufa, Yekaterinberg) from 2003-2005 and can confirm the mafia-types driving these. I thought it was weird when I first got to the country, especially in the more working-class cities. I would see Ladas, Volgas, a couple of Mercedes, and Jeep Grand Cherokees. No other American cars on

IMO, the New Orleans FO had an impossible task. AD’s injuries over the past couple of years has made it impossible to keep talented support players around. If he is sitting with injury, those complementary players have to take on more to win, which makes them more valuable as trade assets and requires duplicated

The worst part is the “KAT-astrophic finish” uttered by the announcer. Fire that guy into the sun.

As satisfying as it was to see Edelman blown up after the tip, I think he did see it coming and starting falling back. It looks like a hard hit, but he goes down a little too soon and is fine afterwards. Not a flop, but definitely leaned back enough to not die.

Pushing is allowed.

The article said the opposite, that the discrimination was in the private sector, so less black people were hired there and more were hired by the federal government. Therefore, since the fed government is shut down, there are more black people affected than if a similar number of private sector employees were shut

Glorious is RIGHT! I really like the way this car looks.

I feel the same way. I really like the looks of this car and am excited to see it in person.

In high school (around 2000), my first car was a 1991 Buick Century with the 3600 series V6. Other than the engine, which rocked, the car was as base as you could get a Buick. But that engine could pull.

What happened there was a friend of the mechanic drummed up some business for him. Original buyer was likely never interested in your car. To avoid it, you need some collateral--their car, license, money etc before they leave with your car or your time, to go with them to the mechanic for the inspection. Without

Listening to the game last night, this is what the announcers kept coming back to and is most of what is on the Jazz blogs. No one is thinking those things are unrelated.

No, you’ll walk down the virtual aisles and browse them as you make your way through your list. People tend to impluse buy if they see something ‘physical’ so they add it to their ‘shopping cart’ which is virtual as well. The ordering is on-line and picking is done at the store, ready for you to pick up when you

So trade in the 2014 and that price comes down a bunch. They only need one truck.

This is my use for them too. My car can do either seat and seat back or seat back only. When my lower back is hurting, that latter setting is awesome.

Look up the Boston Celtics Gordon Hayward’s “Daddy’s Always Happy” video. He may never live that down.

This is the most surprising part of the whole story. How do cars made in the last decade not have even simple TPMS? My Buick has each tire’s actual(-ish) pressure continuously monitored.
