This is the problem with the Barra:

My 2019 started with my 2018 GTI sitting at the dealer. 3.5 months went by, and finally VW stopped fighting and bought it back. At that point I realized that I am young, and have no need for four doors. Naturally I kicked off my midlife crisis at 24 and bought a Corvette. It’s stupid, but after going to the 24 hours

As a 2nd gen owner myself, he overpaid. Stick to your Cherokees. That automatic and the 3VZE is a tragic combination. High teens to 60 mph, and it’s constantly hunting once you are there. On top of that, it gets 10-11 mpg. That all being said, I’ve driven mine through a river(a small one), and it still runs great.

The 4Runner is also about 2 tons. That auto zaps even more of the power. Mine, it is admittedly lifted with slightly larger tires(33's to the original 31's), takes 20 seconds to get to 60 and achieves a solid 10-11 mpg on the highway. Stock doesn’t fare much better.

Whenever a person of a certain generation posts their C5 on a buy/sell page, then asks another page why THEIR ONE OF A KIND LOW MILE BASE RED C5 AUTOMATIC BECAUSE MUH KNEE IS BAD isn’t selling for what they want, I post this to stir the pot. It’s not a secret really, but it’s relevant. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-

My neighbor has a clean bodied, rust free grabber orange ‘70 Mach 1 hidden in the shed at his late mother’s house. It’s one of his 2 or 3 “I’ll get around to it cars.” At the moment, the tarp covering the entrance of the shed is structural, and I’m waiting for the day the car gets crushed by the shed(it was hit by a

Also my second car, it’s also the only car I’ve gotten rid of that I don’t miss, and my third car was an absolute nightmare as it spent more time at the dealer than with me(literally) until it was bought back. It was super fun at first, but only having power 2 months out of the year got old. My GTI was better in every

I had a the fun ST and a Mk7.5 GTI. I had a horrible experience with the GTI, the dealer ruined the car to the point of VW buying it back, but I every time I see another GTI, I regret not getting another. Every time I see an ST, I just feel sorry for people who fell for the trap. It’s fun, but it’s about as fun as a

I had a 2019 CX5 Touring as a loaner when my dealer was repeatedly striking my GTI(VW bought it back). This came after the 2018 Tiguan SE loaner I had before. The Tiguan was better in every imaginable way. The CX5 was jarring, loud and slow. With the tires it had on it, I didn’t get that Zoom Zoom connection, plus

Yeah, an F150 doing about double the limit in a 35, and lane splitting.

I currently have a C5 Z06, and still probably one of my favorite cars I’ve ever driven is an RX8. The engine is 100% part of what makes it special.

Well, BrownDogWelding that used to post on Oppo, and I believe got posted here occasionally had 2 stolen from him, and knows of countless others in the Detroit area.

It’s a great car that has been cheapened by it’s manufacturing location and dealer network. Those two things Lemon’d mine.

The Ford Focus RS. When they came out here in the US, I had a Fiesta ST at the time. The Fiesta was a blast, but I had heard the RS was the FiST's fun with power. Having an ST, I had a few ST friends because ST people only associate with ST people, and soon enough, one traded their FiST for a FoRS. Lucky for me, he

It's a Volvo, so...

We have one at work, and the gill is already pealing. On top of that, the center console doesn’t open on the bench, nor is there at the very least an open storage area in it. Every part of the inside of the truck just seems like they were spiting those that have to use it for work.

After seeing one in person, the HD is better than the 1500 full stop. The front is no longer a mountain of chrome, which is also a bonus. It also lost the tumor under the passenger door that the last one had.

I feel like most of this car was made out of spite towards internet commenters and stereotypes.
