K mister salesman. It sucks.

I’ve driven the sedan, which is the same car, but less ugly.

Same power, closer in weight than the FoST.

The two other Elantras were current gen, so they share quite a lot.

Also, I never said the Camry was a competitor, I was just listing things that were more exciting to drive.

I’ve driven both, the Elantra’s steering is vague. It removes every semblance of sportiness in the drive. Go actually drive one. The steering reminds me of a 1980's truck, when you turn the wheel and there is a bit of play, so you have to time a turn.

We own a 2014 Azera, which is shit. While that pile of shit was at the dealer for a week and a half having quality issues, we got a 2017 G80. That was no better built than the Azera. Modern Chevy’s have better built interiors, while also having higher quality materials. On top of that, I’ve driven both a new Elantra

Hyundai just recalled 1.7 million engines due their nature of failing.

I know two people personally to have had an Elantra bought back due to multiple transmission failures...

Hyundai just recalled 1.7 million engines due to the tendency of failing, so, no.

I’ve known of quite a few Hyundai’s being Lemon’d. They are extremely poorly put together. We have a 2014 Azera Limited, 2002 Suburban, and 2016 FiST in the driveway. The Azera has the least amount of miles and has been to the dealer more times than the FiST, and the FiST is modified. The Azera has worse build quality

She also drives it everyday(she commented on the FB page that she works at the gift shop/welcome center there), so she probably could disappear within a very short amount of time.

S2000 driver works at the gift shop on the road. She’s literally commuting to work.

I agree with the looks thing, but have you test driven literally any of the competitors? A Camry is much more exciting to drive. Or a rock. Or an Aveo. Or a moving van. Or... The point is, this thing is dull as a cloud.

I own a FiST, and test drove one of these. Get the FiST while you can. The interior in the Elantra looks nicer, but doesn’t feel it. The FiST’s engine is a lot more exciting, even stock. While the FiST’s steering isn’t the world’s greatest, it is magnitudes bettter than the Hyundai. Most importantly, the FiST makes

As someone who test drove an Elantra Sport, I thought it was pretty mediocre. The interior looks nice, but feels Aveo-ish. The engine is incredibly dull, it gets the job done, but in the most unexciting fashion. The steering is as sporty as a 70's Cadillac.

I too frequent there, and I never noticed it until I drove by at night, and the lights were on around it. It was great.

The Lexus dealer in Hilton Head, SC(it may be considered Blufton, SC) has a white one roped off in the lobby, and not listed.

Apparently they only won’t fit the GSL-SE.
