The Colorado's "Duramax" is originally a reworked VM Motori design, that is built in Thailand.

Eh, completely different light duty. Light duty to us is a 6.7 V8 with 440hp and 860 ft lbs.

GX/4Runner/Prado all share the same basic platform. I just prefer the looks of the 4Runner.

I'll take the 1VD-FTV please!

A stripped down one would be nice, or at least have the next 4Runner and Prado share pretty much everything underneath. That would be great.

Yep

I think the Sequoia is the Land Cruiser's price problem.

My problem is that they promised so much, people bought it(literally), and then they found out about this after the fact.

Yes, but the Z06 weighs 3524, which is the comparable Corvette. And ooh, the C7 weighs one less pound and has over 180 hp less.

A bit lighter than the C7 as well.

Well the C7 barfed two engines for C&D, but GM is still getting their dick sucked by journalists.

"It's just a minor quality issue, you won't even notice."

It will probably need it with over 500 lb ft of twist.

Does this mean it will de-rate in 2.5 minutes instead of 5-10?

A bus pass!

Had a BRAT, those seats will almost make you want to puke sober, depending on the surface of course.

Not really. The 1GR still makes around the same usable power as the Colorado, if not more. The reason the Colorado gets better gas mileage, is because of the un-truck like powerband.

Make that Spruce Green Mica instead of gray, and that's exactly how I want it. Maybe with the TRD package.

Rework as in, "Let's put all the power way up here, so it looks like we get better gas mileage under power!" Because that's pretty much what GM did. I think the 4.0 from the 4Runner would be a much better choice because it has usable power.

Using gelled oil to pressurize gelled fuel really isn't a great design.
