Jordan and the Slowrunner, Boomer Intensifies

Don't forget the slow as shit N/A diesel part. This engine propels my friends regular cab F-250 slowly.

I kind of want to drive it, just to say I have driven something that ridiculous.

I have a difficult time believing the fastest start time claim. The HPOP was a bitch in the cold. It maybe was faster than GM's Detroits, but I think the Cummins probably held that claim up until 2008.

If there is a running CLA in 10 years...

Those will end up on a Golf, I guarantee it.

I got flamed for asking the same question. The best response I got back was some bullshit story about first responders about it being a bigger mess ejecting from a car. So I have no clue.

For those on a budget:

I think the first problem would be defining a performance car. When you put down the numbers, a new Duramax can outrun a Miata to a certain point. Therefore if a Miata is considered a performance car, that could to, and it would wipe the floor with it's range.

And lucky for you, the Toyota heart will still be beating.

To be fair, Ford is full of shit. Taking a 1.25 ton truck to a 1 ton fight is a bit unfair. The fact that they couldn't compare their F-350 speaks volumes.Whatever the case, it needs a diesel to compete.

It is also stamped, but the Tacoma is stamped plastic.

They promised to set the "benchmark" for midsize performance, I hope they aren't filthy liars. Give us the D Toyota, give us the D4D!

I am so excited! I hope they don't screw this up. And PLEASE Toyota, get the power right. Don't put the torque way up in the rev range.

9/9, and I drive an old 4Runner, the polar opposite of the Miata!

Or just get rid of the Pentastar all together and give it the Ecodiesel.

Plus he drives and enjoys them. IIRC he put over 200k miles on the Camaro for DDD traveling in it, before he swapped over to the Cobra.

The need to go fast wasn't there. They work just fine, they just do it slowly.

Insanity?
