Is that show any good? I’ve considered checking it out but never hear any buzz about it.

The current trend is to never make jokes that imply anything is ever unfair or sexist or insensitive because it makes these people feel bad about themselves for laughing, I think. Despite the context of these kinds of jokes almost always being “this was wrong and let’s laugh at it and ourselves so that we could heal…
“I suggest not to make these kind of “jokes” in 2018. You will regret it”
You’re not counting Millennium season 3, which may be intentional, and probably for the best.
Well I have now listened to the new TMBG many times, and it’s brilliant. This review is baffling on every level though:
There’s tons of episodes better and funnier than this one even (though I quite liked this one a lot.) Not that the only good X-Files is a funny one, the spooky ones are a blast too. But the funny ones are often fan favorites. Watch any and all written by Darin Morgan, and you can’t go wrong with any Vince Gilligan…
I sometimes just sit and think about how many people haven’t seen his amazing Millennium episodes and get really sad.
Yay.
Wow, boo-hoo. This is really a cause we all need to rally behind. Make sure famous person gets more money. My heart aches. Clearly it’s a color and gender bias when the two go-to examples are respectively...the same gender as her and the same race as her? This is beyond absurd and narcissistic. I’ll never see even…
*Keenan. It’s not letting me edit my post to correct this for some reason.
Not a mention to the funniest joke of the night and the only time me and my girlfriend really laughed a lot, Kennan saying “some of us relish the opportunity to ‘become Bernard.’”
I’m curious what the reviewer means by “catchy guitar” in I Left My Body. It’s just playing chords. What’s catchy? Usually a riff or melody would be catchy.
Wasn’t the entire premise of the tattoo episode that she was purposefully doing something out of character? People do that kind of thing. It’s a thing that happens.
This was great. Wow. And written by Carter. I am absolutely baffled by what went wrong with the premiere. Did the editor drop the ball? This to me proves Carter is more than capable of doing a solid and even exceptional X-Files episode, with good character moments and a mysterious and weird x-file to play with.
“Word on the street (and around the A.V. Club offices) is that the new season of The X-Files is an improvement on the last season of The X-Files.”
I like both songs but I was very taken back by that statement.
I think they said once they had like 200 or so songs before they made their first album, and none of them are on any of those albums even, so yeah, they’ve always been insanely prolific.
I very much want to participate here but because I ordered the CD on Amazon, I don’t have it yet. That’s what I get for supporting them old school.
“ends up playing more like a conservative fantasy of restoring the white, slim, and heterosexual to their proper place atop the teenage hierarchy than any sort of trenchant commentary on 21st-century teen culture.”
I tell you, nothing turns a girl on more than constantly asking “is this okay?” Oh man it really gets them going! Especially the more awkward and sheepish you make it. Girls love hesitant unconfident guys questioning them a lot in the bedroom!
