IIRC Mercedes did a good job at V6/8 modularity in the 90s and 2000s with a shared design, but its always worth bringing up Jaguar / land rovers bad take at it.

Jalopnik never uploads that many press pics.
This is defeatist, take it back. Done 110,000 miles in less than 5 years on mine and I’m 32.
Taking the time to make a video but not a track layout is criminal.
No one saying the Firepower couldn’t have been sold elsewhere. Chrysler was trying to be in Europe at the time with okay numbers.
Those numbers just aren’t right mate.
Where’s DeWayne at? Just need that $$ amount now.
Might as well then. Slap some turbos in there and you got yourself a Explorer ST competitor.
On that note, did the transverse 3.6 turbo die along with the XTS? Cant think of anything that would have that engine now.
No.
FWIW they showed the new RWD SUV and said 3 more will follow. The one they showed starts at $44k (not sure if euro or pound). The 2.0L miata starts at 30k in England and 29k here. The platform and engines are there and it could have been affordable. Thats why I had hope.
Seems like it just stuck around for a year or two. I’d bet on highlighter and pink getting replaced by other colors too.
Typical white to black scale, red and blue as usual, a darker red, green(!) plus pink and highlighter for fun.
Eyyy I remember that conversation. Also this is how it ended up:
*Its actually a long thread of you goto twitter and I’m blaming kinja. How does it keep getting worse.
Union Pacific: lays off security and doesnt lock doors
Booo! Run what ya brung.
I dont know why they did a straight conversion. The first two cars I could think for reference, the miata and escape, start at roughly the same price in England and here. Suzuki isn’t here anymore, but if it was $20k that’d. be great.
Uploaded that picture in 2020, crash was in ‘17.
