I have a droid turbo as well with the turbo charger, I always thought it was because the last 20% or so of the phone from 80% and up charges quite a bit slower than from 0-80%. I’m a bit paranoid about my battery capacity staying high so my phone charges on a 1A charger normally

I have a Motorola droid turbo and the Motorola turbo charger that came with it. (Basically a rebranded Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 wall charger) when my droid turbo is charging with it, the wall charger hums, but if I charge any not quick charge enabled device, it doesn’t hum.
