OoT isn’t even distinctly linked to TP or WW either, they just have a lot of similar themes. The myths don’t line up perfectly between the games, nor should they.

I use a WD MyCloud. It’s worked great for me, and they’re not overly pricey, maybe 250 bucks or so for a 4tb. Every three or four years I buy a new one and copy everything over. Of course, if your library is 5+ TB this is impractical, but 4TB and down it works great.

I love Fleksy, but it seems to always get buggy and slow after using it consistently for a month or so. I’ll uninstall it, switch over to Swiftkey, and then return to Fleksy a couple months later and repeat. It’s the strangest thing. I wonder if it’s an issue with it’s autocorrect library.

Welcome back Mike - I noticed you were gone but missed the article explaining why. Glad to see you're still with us, and still able to hug your boys!

We bought a switch specifically to get Let’s Go. My wife adores Pokemon, and is fine letting the switch sit on the shelf for six months until it is released.

I think we had the same computer - That was my first exposure to computing ever, my dad’s 286. I think it had a 3.25" floppy drive as well though, if I remember correctly, but that may have been the 386 we got later.

These games were actually a big part of my gaming heritage - I had a bunch of them for NES. The combo game with Noah, Mary and Joseph, and David was crazy bizarre and a lot of fun - what other game let's you stack two pigs, a raccoon, and a chicken on your head? Joshua was really similar to Exodus, and actually had

Meth is a hell of a drug.

I did not realize banner saga 3 is coming out this summer! I really need to finish the second one.

Thanks!

I’ve got a long commute too, and I’m around halfway through a wise mans fear (which I’m enjoying, but damn get to the point man). Any suggestions for what I should listen to next?

I made some bacon fat ginger snaps last Christmas. They were delicious, but had a distinct laxative effect - which I’m sure was colon-cleansing, but not really what I was going for.

So much better than their later remakes too.

Man, that’s like four or five ps4-only games that I would love now. I love my xb1, but it might be time to start saving some pennies.

Yawn. Wake me when they do a warcraft II remaster.

Some of my fondest gaming memories are playing king’s quest V (the non-voiced version) on my dad’s 386. It really amazes me how much those developers did with such limited resources.

Me too.

Ikea magnetized knife rack, mounted to the wall! It’s fantastic and easy to install.

We never owned an NES - I think my first console was a Genesis - but my dad bought a 286 PC when it was bleeding-edge. I taught myself DOS so I could play the three games we got with it - Sid Meir’s Pirates!, Gunship, and Airborne Ranger. A great introduction.

I come here for this stuff.
