Finishing up Blood and Wine (Which is fantastic, enjoy Riley!), Replaying Dishonored so I’m ready for the sequel (I’ve got the XB1 definitive edition, so I’ll be playing the DLC for the first time), dabbling in Star Wars Battlefront now that it’s free on the EA subscription, dabbling in COD:IW during the free

You can absolutely trademark mechanics and infringe without using a name. I mean, imagine a game about a busty explorer named Lana Cross who wields dual handguns. There’s no way that would fly.

I’m surprised they haven’t been hit with a lawsuit. This literally looks like a reskinned Banjo-Kazooie game in high res, right down to the music. Not that I’m complaining.

I play on Xbox because I currently don’t have a pc capable of handling the games I want to play. It would be a 500$+ investment (plus games) for me to build my own living room box, and I just don’t have that kind of money.

The Witcher 3: blood and wine. Also have 150 bucks (Canadian, so like two games) of birthday money to spend on xb1 - I’m thinking xcom 2 and dishonored 2, but I’m trying to hold out until they go on sale.

One of the few games I’ve ever 100%ed... Or close to, at least. Missed one of the optional quests in Syria and can’t get back there any more. Great game. Been playing with the idea of picking up the dlc - is it worth going back to once the game is completed?

I think that if ACIII hadn’t followed the ACII trilogy it would have been more widely praised. It was a very different feel from ACII, but did a lot of cool stuff. I think if it had followed Unity (which I still can’t get into), it would have been seen for what it is - a unique experiment with some great ideas - an

What a great month. Any chance Burnout comes with the DLC? Probably not. But still, great game. And Sleeping Dogs I’ve always been interested in, but never played.

I just finished Hearts of Stone DLC last night for Witcher 3, and really enjoyed it. Better than the main game - man I wish Shani could be a main NPC. Was legit sad that <redacted>. Guess I’ll go back to Triss. Hope she won’t be pissed with my little affair.

Voice chat is one of the main reason I don’t play multiplayer games online. I just can’t stand whiny 12 year olds telling me about how they’re going to fuck my mom. I put up with enough crap in my day to day life, I don’t need it during my downtime too.

That’s kinda how all Witcher fights go, isn’t it? Haha

Yeah, I’m playing on the hardest difficulty but like you said pretty well walked through most of the game. The frog Prince was brutal though, actually had to look up a walk through to beat him!

No money for new games this year (although my to-purchase list is LONG), so it’s Witcher 3 for me (just starting HoS before going to finish the final quest), and probably starting a new playthrough on Mass Effect now that they’re all on EA Access.

I’m playing through Witcher 3 right now too - been working on my first playthrough for almost a year, savoring it. Finally at Final Preparations, and I’m detouring to do Hearts of Stone first. Plan is to do HoS, finish off the main game, and then play Blood and Wine. I’m only level 35 so the beginning of HoS was

They should at least get them running on modern machines and release them a la GOG or something similar. WC1 was not very good, but WC2 had so much character. I loved that game.

EA Access finally became worth it after paying for it for two years too: Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, all three Mass Effect games, and Star Wars Battlefront on it’s way!

I made the mistake of upgrading to 4k *just before* the UHD sets started coming out... So I I’ll just be really impressed in around five - seven years when I upgrade again.

of they were black, half of them would be dead and the other half locked up. If they were middle eastern, they would all be dead. Racism at it’s finest.

Oh God I’m glad I’m Canadian.

If you’re gone for long enough that you’re worried about an extended power outage (like fleeing from a hurricane, etc), you should really unplug your compressor-based appliances (like fridges and freezers and heat pumps). Brownouts and voltage spikes are really, really hard on compressors, and can shorten the life of
