Netflix is paying Disney for the privilege of streaming Disney products? That seems... Backwards. But makes sense I suppose. I don’t see how Netflix is going to start making money, even if they move more and more to original content. Either they’ll have to start showing advertising, raise their monthly rates a lot, or

More like other companies wouldn’t want to stream on Disney’s network. Except they already do, through ABC (which Disney owns) and through the various studios that Disney wither owns outright or distributes for. On the movie front there’s really only warner, Disney, And Fox doing distribution. A third of all media

You know, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Disney buy Netflix in the next year or two. There’s already a ton of overlap with the marvel properties, etc. And Disney would make a killing having all of their content available to stream.

I got stuck on chapter two and haven’t been back to it... I liked chapter one though. I should really get back to it. Similar kings quest humor with some tough puzzles. Pretty good.

For what it’s worth, doesn’t seem like anything is down in Canada. We must use different DNS servers.

This. I would HAPPILY buy new Nintendo hardware if I was going to be assured 3-4 first-party (or first-party-funded) games a year. But we’re lucky if we get one a year, if that.

I am so down with this. I’m getting a Mad Max meets Last of Us vibe, and I am so ready.

I was really trying not to get my hopes up... But this looks bad. The controllers are super ugly, it’s going to be really underpowered, and is going to lose third party support within a year... Again. Blerg. I want to care, Nintendo. I want to love Mario and enjoy Zelda again. Why do you do this to me every six years?

Putting Ozzie Mandrill on this list just gave me a new level of respect for you. You’re a good one, Luke!

It’s called the Angry Birds Effect.

Textra for texting, Facebook messenger for everything else. Never got the handle on combining both into a single app.

I think if it showed you a new name every time you respawned, and a time of death every time you died, it would help add gravity.

Played a chunk of the campaign last night using the EA Access trial, and I definitely felt this. On one hand I was impressed with a game willing to engage in the grittiness and futility of war (that opening story - I was nearly in tears at times), but on the other I was trying to reconcile the fact that this was

Kinda embarrassed to say it, but I’ve been playing super mega baseball. Got it for free with gwg, and Ive actually been pleasantly surprised. Team Moose is well on their way to the playoffs. Does leave me wishing there was a real baseball Sim for xb1 though.

I was just about to cancel my sub too. yay!

The Xbox Ea access is a seperate program with a seperate list of games.

I installed duo, got excited about it, tried to convince my wife to install it. She said ‘why would I do that? I already have like 4 video chat apps, and everyone is on Facebook messenger already’.

I have a lot of strange memories tied to that screen shot. Anyone else discover channel sex when they were 14? Anyone? No? I’ll see myself out.

I coulda sworn the newer movies were on Netflix, at least in Canada.

I watch 4k Netflix, but even 1080p content looks pretty great still. I don’t hate it, just kicking myself for not holding out a little longer.
