There should be a training course for people who post ads on what “manual transmission” means.

I could look at this thing drive away all day.

My god, that glorious ass...

I have wanted an E39 M5 for a few years. Part of the reason is it may be the last generation of BMW where the statement “if you can’t afford it new, you can’t afford it used” doesn’t really apply. If these things are kept right, they’ll drive to hell and back.

There’s this 2005 Maserati GranSport at a dealership up the street from me for a cool $21,777. I can’t even imagine what kind of a maintenance nightmare this thing would be and every time I drive past it I laugh a little waiting for someone to pick it up. They have it parked right in front, of course.

I have a local Alfa dealer. Turns out they sell Alfas there.

If I was in the market to spend $500k on a car, I would have a hard time not buying one of these.

Username checks out.

People aren’t matches. And though he has “torch” in his name, I don’t blame him for this. Blame the crazies themselves.. they are the ones who’ve done wrong. I like that Jason brings injustice like this to light.

Which is a lot cheaper and more horsepower than the BMW M3/M4 Competition Package or the newly revealed M4 CS.

No, they employ talented people like Darby to create ambitious designs then accounting takes a look at it and says “sweet wheels bro, but imma cut back on all the cool to keep the price low.”

There is a design team behind Chevy Trucks? I thought they just used Minecraft to design the general shape and called it a day.

I wish catalytic converters worked the way the author described. Every car would have an afterburner, there would be flames everywhere on the road. It would be awesome.

Ohh, you mean this guy

Any FWD with a huge aluminum spoiler?

Light bars and lift kits in suburbia. None of that is needed to find your way over to PF Changs.

Yes, a modded R could beat a stock SS. But there is no motor that has the aftermarket support and ability to make cheap HP like an LS. The SS fits 5 adults easily and has a decent trunk (16 cubic feet). You get better gas mileage with the Golf-R, but that’s a savings of 30 bucks per thousand miles. I’m not sure

Enh - priorities. Everyone’s got their vice. We have a kid and a home and we both work, and buying it is not a stretch. Dieselgate helped too. Call it a midlife crisis (I’ll be 40 this year), and not breaking a sweat owning it.

It seems like Jalopnik has become an echo chamber for political views that ignore both sides of an argument and agree with whatever MSNBC said this morning. I liked it more when it was about cars. I’ll take my clicks elsewhere so someone else can make their fractions of a penny on my viewership.
