For four grand, I like my electric bikes with a little more city hipster vibe:

$4000 = 1 used car + 1 used road bike + 1 used mountain bike + REAL FUCKING LEG MUSCLES

If you’re not willing to wear a helmet while operating a car/truck/tractor/bicycle/horse/racing snail/etc. then you really have no business nannying a motorcyclist who chooses to let the wind flow through their hair.

*insert crazy anecdote about how my uncle’s friend’s cousin’s stepson crashed his bike at 120 while wearing a helmet and it was definitely the helmet that broke his neck and killed him, he would have been fine if he had hit the pavement with his bare face. *

Fuck lanesplitters only if you’re formally engaged. Lanesplitting is safe, is legal in Cali now and will be in more states soon, and it’s good for everyone because it reduces the number of vehicles and people wasting time and fuel in heavy traffic. The only downside to lanesplitting is crybabies who feel “cheated”

I Just looked at your handle, you are 100% that asshole that speeds up every time you’re passed.

Lane splitting is legal in cali, go fuck yourself. You sound like someone who drives at exactly the speed limit in the left lane, and then accelerates every time someone tries to pass you on the right.

Fuck lane splitters assholes. This is awesome.

But they aren’t in the same line as you. It just happens to be that their line is moving faster because there are less people in it.

Here is how I think of it:

You are going through the bank drive-through and you’ve forgotten your ATM card, forcing you into the teller-attended line.

Now, as you are sitting there, 5

You are taught to get off the track as quickly as possible so the professionals can get to the rider and do their job.

Having done dozen’s of trackdays, all various org’s, all of them tell you to NOT stop for ANYONE on the track (your brother, your mother, your friend etc.). all for one reason your not trained to help them, period. There is a reason why all trackdays have corner workers, and an ambulance on standby. Stopping to help

Stopping on the track just increases the danger. If this was a properly organized track day there would be medics and corner workers on the scene faster than a rider could pull off his helmet and gloves to offer his unsound medical “help”.

If it is anything like the orgs I used to ride with protocol is to actually clear the track and exit, not to stop. They won’t roll an ambulance until the track is clear.

$10.00 for new Fiberglass and when I used to Repack my V&H SS2R you would wrap it around the perforated tube and then secure it with safety wire. That pipe barely made sound tech at 110DB at half RPM and 3 feet.

You, sir, have just won the Edd China Elbow Grease Award.
