I live in Austin.....And yes, I spend a lot of time angry at the state legislature. Last time a Republican held the presidency, I lived in a progressive state. So, yeah. I am a bit worried about dropping dead from an anger heart attack at this point.

Also, I wonder how much of that has to do with Baby Boomers (since they are one of the largest generations) retiring?

I bet he plans to kiss all of their bellies, like any normal statesman does.

I was longing for the days of the GHWB presidency, during the GWB presidency. I never thought that I would see a time when I’d be longing for the GWB presidency... or Reagan’s.

I feel like this might be similar to what abusive men do.....Meaning, they move the yardstick a bit farther than what they have said or done. Things like “I’m not a racist because I am not a KKK member.” Or “I am not a racist because I have never called any person the n-word to his/her face.” This same person is

I don’t disagree with you here about the much lesser numbers of left-wing conspiracies versus right-wing ones.

It has Patrick Stewart in it, if that helps tip the scales.

Yeah, but liberals respond to different stuff....The whole “vaccines cause Autism” crap is something that liberals tend to respond to. Along with GMO food is dangerous.

Controlling women’s bodies from day 1.

Not paying the divorce settlement and not transferring over titles is a classic abuser maneuver.....

Who by and large could not give a fuck about offering any funds, care, or education for the baby once it pops out of the womb.

Yup. The only Republican that ran that would have had my vote (out of the 17 people that ran) was George Pataki. He’s ACTUALLY a moderate. Hell, by current Republican standards, he would be a Democrat.

At least in Clinton’s case....I think that it is to have the media bear down on Trump and focus the conversation on his issues. I know that as soon as Trump won, my Republican in-laws were still going on about how awful Hillary was. I had to point out that the Republicans control all 3 branches of government. You

Hamilton electors. The idea is that Hillary releases every Democratic delegate and endorses an acceptable Republican for president, like Romney. Then, it might be easier to get the 37 or so Republican electors to get on the bandwagon.

This is the thing that I don’t understand....why even bother going to a state judge? The constitution specifically allows electors to vote as individuals. Even if there are binding state laws, the constitution supersedes state law.

Trump is the Dunning-Kruger effect made flesh.

I am in one of the local branches of it (and the big national one). The local branch is MUCH more about actual activism. They’ve already started organizing meetings with the Texas legislature and have been setting up meetings with the Texas Democrats.

The acting in the Fall is incredible and the show is feminist as fuck. It’s definitely worth watching.

Good. Since you think that this is an issue worth firing someone for, maybe fire his f%^&ing father too?
