yeah, i almost wasn’t surprised when i read billion the first time. then i thought about it a second and read the bbc article and was like .. hold on. 9.5 billion is a LOT of money. and i remember a 1600MW nuclear plant was estimated at about 5 or 6 billion or so.

BBC article says $9.5m ... does “m” = billion and “M” = million or something? cause you can build a fairly substantial nuclear plant for 9.5 BILLION.
