Yes! The best way to deflate their egos is to laugh at them. It also shows that they haven’t upset you - which is the reaction they wanted.

It was right up there with when he told Alex “Well you should [like milk]. Milk’s delicious!”
Right? Or at least lend them his horse that he casually strolled off in. What a dick move!
You’re completely right... the Jaime rape season really soiled his redemption ark for me. And yet, he’s still likely going to continue on his ark (whether or not you and I feel it justified), especially now that Cercei’s gone bonkers. In my opinion, Jon Snow and Dany both know nothing.
Hi there - great questions. We crazy book readers have also asked these, and so I’ve got some answers for you.
The only way I see Jon accepting the Iron Throne was if he felt he had to out of duty. After all, he more than anything was meant to lead the fight against the white walkers. He’d have a lot more resources and power to do so if he was leading all of Westeros, not just the North.
Agreed about Lena Headey. I think she brought more depth and nuance to this character than GRRM did. Book Cercei is much more one dimensional to me.
What about Jon Snow and Tyrion? And soon, I imagine, Jaime? Although this episode largely focused on the women, I don’t think the show as a whole is now too female-heavy. Also, I wouldn’t consider Elaria and the Bland Snakes to be “good” or “smart”. They’re basically as likable as Euron Greyjoy, another kinslayer who…
Dany does have babies. Her children are her dragons. I’ve seen some theories that until her dragons die, the curse will not be lifted.
It does make you wonder... If zombies can get it up, just imagine all the white walker orgies going on beyond the wall.
I completely agree about the Sam/Gilly scene. It seemed totally out of place and didn’t thematically work with the rest of the episode. It’s more of an introductory scene that would fit better at the beginning of the next season.
FUN FACT: In GRRM’s original outline for the book series he sent to his editors, he had ARYA falling in love with Jon.
