I’m not sure if I buy Sansa’s smile there. If she is anything, she is unfailingly polite. She didn’t put on a smile until Jon looked at her for a reaction. Here’s a closeup of her face while they’re chanting “The King of the North!” before he looks at her. She doesn’t look so pleased.

I completely agree about the Sam/Gilly scene. It seemed totally out of place and didn’t thematically work with the rest of the episode. It’s more of an introductory scene that would fit better at the beginning of the next season.
