So this August I’m off to college at Northern Michigan University, and I’m looking for a car to bring along with me. It has to be simple, able hold things, be relatively interesting, and cheap.
I love the X1-9! It’s tiny and Italian and sports car and really cool! Ever since I discovered it it has been on my list of cars I want to have someday. But is it a good idea? This is where your help comes in.
It’s a 1983 Oldsmobile Oil Leaker. Wait, I’ve just been informed that it has a name. Firenza? Huh. Well this is my 1983 Firenza I guess.
I’m really bummed out that crossovers are killing the wagon.
Volvo coming out! GodI always forget how much fun it is to drive the brick. Completely different kind of fun from the Miata of course, but I really love this car!
A broken first gen Civic! If anyone’s interested it is currently for sale and includes all major parts to gitt’er goin. It’s like an IKEA set. But Japanese. And rusty. And it probably won’t serve a productive purpose when it’s done.
Would you pull a 1,500 lb Civic 1,000 miles with a ‘94 Miata? Because I want to. Would the Miata make it? What kind of damage would it suffer? The way I see it, there’s only one way to find out...
I must say, I’m pleased with it.
I put my RoadsterSport RS3 Exhaust on last week after driving for two weeks with no exhaust from the cat back. The exhaust note is wonderful. I’m loving it so far
The automobile industry is evolving. Technology is taking cars to levels that mankind wouldn’t have even dreamed of a mere thirty years ago. You can not buy a new car today without some sort of electronic driver aid or enormous infotainment screen. Many cars use electricity to help power the wheels in efforts to…
God it takes patience to build a car oppo. Parts are expensive and shipping is stupid and they’re hard to find and nobody else cares about these cars so there isn’t any help anywhere.
It’s 100% just because I grew up around them, they really aren’t my kind of car. I just love pulling away from a weekend hunting, tired as hell, with a soft V8 burble and the car looking like this.
So I’ve been driving the Miata around with no mid pipe or muffler for about 2 weeks now. It’s obnoxious, illegal, and I feel an overwhelming amount of guilt every time I turn the car on near people.
Who knows Miatas well??? I’ve got a fairly bad clutch shake when I feather it out from a stop in first gear. It’s also been a little more finicky during normal shifting. Is it a slave cylinder? I know that was one of the NA’s weaknesses.
Will it tow?
2012 Nissan Maxima or 2015 Kia Optima?
Taking the girly out for a night out and a dinner. Armor All on the dash and plastics makes it look way nicer! I love the layout of the interior of the Miata. It’s really functional and simple and the tan makes it feel really nice.
I’m a junior in Highschool. I live in Minneapolis. This means I know a bunch of the most mentally incapable, low life kids in the world. Class A jackasses.
In the last 2 days our family has been blessed with 2 new cars! A C7 Vette and an FR-S! Now it’s time to compare! Actually, lets make it a game!
Oppo Jesus Christ I think I’m having a crisis.
