only it can be abused to hell. There was a game dev that made a terrible game called Day one gary’s incident. in response to the majority of criticism to this terrible game, they done things like delete forum topics badmouthing the game, sent copyright strikes to a prominent youtube reviewer (one would argue the top

I don’t think it’s valid at all. Either review the game or don’t. Don’t leave a negative because the 1 of the 12 devs said he supports China’s oppression of Tibet, or said all men are created equal. A review should talk about gameplay mechanics, graphics, sound, fun factor, etc. It screws up the entire system.

i meant it as in “hey if that was a tease of what the full game might feel like, then dammit we lost something good”

It was free, which means it can be removed at any time. Had people paid for it Konami wouldn’t be able to remove it.

But wasn’t PT already amazing?

So? It looks pretty fun.

Welcome to videogames, where borrowing ideas that work from other games has been normal since the 80’s.

I’m not a big COD fan. Hell, the last one I played was Black Ops 1 and even then it was only after I saw it on sale. But the hate this franchise gets is just fun.

COD sets a style of shooter

I look at it like this: Mobility is the new trend (well ok old trend if you look at the games like Quake) of FPS. Especialy the ease of mobility. They’d be kinda stupid not to put it there, imo.

Not true at all. Not at least recently. There were two mobile games that grossed over a billion in 2015. Clash of Clans and Puzzles and Dragons. LoL was 900m or so. Dota2 isn’t even top 10 in PC F2P. Now you can get into the whole semantics of his statement, but its certainly not false.

So what do you want instead? Another Judgment, where it’s technically a “new” game full of distilled mechanics, and a lackluster experience overall? A GoW 4, even though the main trilogy finished on a high, satisfying note? A prequel, which no one ever cares for?

To the folks saying they tried one of the games and didn’t enjoy feeling punished for adapting to the controls or having sudden “gotcha” moments sprung on them: I feel you completely.

Yeah, except the reason why the women feel compelled to publicly lash out at their men for earning less than them, is because the women have also been raised their entire lives to believe that men need to be the bread winners. Issues of masculinity and gender roles are not exclusively limited to the gender that

This is a pretty sad take on things in my opinion. My male friend, who happens to be a humble home-maker, is married to a female doctor. He makes less than a gas station attendant and she makes several million dollars a year. Perhaps that’s the exception and not the rule, though. The more positive way to think about

Little known (possibly?) Fact: Vaan is the direct result of SquareEnix forcing onto Yasumi Matsuno (the director of FF Tactics, Vagrant Story and of course FF XII) a character that their metrics said would resonate with their target demographic. He was not at all in any way originally planned to be in the game,

I am no fan of the character, but the design is consistent. Tidus’s, not so much.

All human beings have standards about who they want to date, and they vary from person to person. Those are your standards, I would guess. There are men and women who are happy to date obese people, or unemployed people, or carless people, etc, etc, but have other things they consider dealbreakers because they have

Like I said: it’s about what you bring to the table.

Meh... This happens with most game developments. Yes, target renders are sometimes made with the game hardware, but target renders lack a considerable amount of real gameplay features, freeing a lot of processing power to focus solely on graphics. Target renders will almost always look better because of this.

Why shame him? Its not like he/she got drunk and went on a rampage. He loves CC so what?

if that hinge opens and closes too much the top screen will snap off, the 2DS doesn’t suffer from that problem and is therefore better.

Darkside’s choices do make sense when you consider how few options they had.
