If you've already played the game before(which the speedrunner undoubtedly has) why not?

It's a challenge. I doubt this is his first time playing the game anyhows. I could understand your worry if it was.
The middle school I work at really demonstrates this. None of my kids have any drive to continue on after high school and the local high school doesn't require an entrance exam from my school so they don't study at all. They are content to live the working class lives of their parents, no dreams of college or work…
Sounds like it fixes my main critique on it, which is that the game boils interactivity down to a quicktime event. What it should have done was introduce a variety of response controls that you can use in the lead-up to the main mourning session (or however it works. How do I funeral?). Then, when you need to Hold X…
The example at 1:10 that you use is much worse. It looks like they're just two faces ramming into each other. Of course, they pan the camera away from the lips as fast as possible because they don't want you to see that their faces aren't truly interacting with each other.
The original was better...
Shhhhh. It's okay. We'll be okay.
They sponsored smash for Evo this year. Even had a video before the melee tournament began where Reggie talked about the passion of the players.
Haha I now thankfully party chat and this game has been quite refreshing...its only fault is having CoD in it's title...so people quickly throw shit at it.
It's a great fast-paced game..you should try out...people tend to quickly dismiss a CoD game and I don't fault them..it's all been the same shit but this one..this one is very fun.
It's not as bad as tripping.
I've never enjoyed 1 on 1 matches... I play Smash more as a party game than as a test of skill or whatever. This seems right up my alley. I'd love to experience the madness that erupts when a Smash Ball appears.
As a kid, when Smash 64 came out, me and my friends would argue about whether Link would beat Mario, or if Pikachu could beat Yoshi, etc. etc. Smash tapped into that childhood nostalgia trip by making a pretty great fighting game around that idea. It's great as both a party game (4 man melee with all items…
Added challenge to a game you've already mastered and is no longer challenging. I used to restrict myself with certain rules in Goldeneye after I had played through it many times.
Other than impressions on the technical things that have been done to the games, they play exactly the same as before. I wouldn't expect something in-depth, and just giving those impressions sounds fine to me.
Additionally they run the risk of other publishers following suit. Well if Kotaku won't follow the embargo with Ubisoft, then maybe Activision (for example) will feel they can't trust them either, effectively black listing Kotaku completely. It's not right, but publishers can hold these sorts of threats against the…
I'm going to give it my best guess:
because these were rumors and THEN appeared in games.
BF4 megalodon is actually in the game, Ergo it's not a rumor, it is fact.
