Oooh, I don’t know.

The problem with that argument is that almost everyone thinks they’re on the side of the angels. We all think our argument is the one that’s worth the tactics we decry in others.

I am a liberal, a free-speech absolutist, a member of the ACLU and a democrat (in about that order). I disagree with basically every one of Johnson’s political opinions.

The actor would agree with you.

I mean, that’s not that weird. They had pretty different tones by Ds9's third season.

I always just figured that it makes sense for a spy to order weak drinks—that way he gets to APPEAR drunker than he is.

Cool story—why? Like, what about it made you feel that way?

Why?

Wow...okay, haven’t watched the vid yet so maybe I’ll be suprised but...I cannot imagine thinking Kylo Ren was in any way compelling from where I’m sitting. Look forward to seeing if the video can change my mind, though.

I don’t know...I actually quite liked that scene and I’m glad it’s in there. It’s one of the few scenes where I found L3 to be really likable.

I mean...how would we rate it?

Would we describe L3 as “feminist”? ‘Cause that seems weird considering her whole thing is “droid rights” (a complicated, probably ill-advised character choice in the first place) and while she is voiced, animated and scripted in a traditionally “feminine” way she never remarks (as far as I can recall, anyway) upon

Eminent domain is an unfortunate necessity of society. We can agree it’s used too much (especially in America as a way to avoid higher taxes) or there should be more allowances for the person effected but at some point in a society the needs of the masses HAVE to come before those of the individual.

I liked the movie a whole lot more than the reviewer here but I think it’s fair to say that a lot of the character’s didn’t have much to do.

I can see that. I thought they did a really good job with Thanos’ face but it’s all about what you notice with things like that—personally I couldn’t take the female mini-boss seriously at all because of how bad her facial animation was.

I mean...cool. Agree to disagree, obviously.

To be fair, the entire MCU concept is built on fan-service.

The best scene in Age of Ultron was always the party at the begining specificly because it is all about the interaction you’re talking about. The biggest failing of Infinity Wars is it never has time to give these characters a similar scene. I would have gladly lost 10 minutes of action throughout the movie to have

Ant-Man is my favorite marvel movie. So under-rated. It’s a small story, but it nails its themes well and lands its jokes while also managing a strong emotional center.

I can’t wait for Ant-Man and The Wasp because I think Marvel is at it’s best when it’s telling smaller, comedic stories with a heart. But I have to admit...not sure how that movie is gonna function in that mold set after this.
