After reading the article, I was thinking the car might be $4500 to someone who really wanted an old Matador, but even that much may be a stretch.

The straight line backup (50 feet by the way) tests your ability to backup in an alley.
I’ve been driving for 17 years and have to parallel park every day in St. Louis.
I have been driving for three years and have to do it all the time in New York City.
I would like to see either a) a test of the driver’s ability to back up a long confined distance (like in an alley) and b) a test of their ability to manuevar the car out of a parked-in situation without bumping other cars.
