There’s too high a percentage of sociopaths and idiots within our society for this to be a viable model, I’m sorry.

Y’know...if we collectively agree to stop giving these miserable fuckwits the attention they so goddamned desperately, pitifully claw at, they’ll eventually just go away and be forgotten like they should be.

Imagine being such a pathetic bitch that you have to pay for cheats for a free game. FFS.

Honestly, the reason for the drop is probably far less interesting than how he’s been very successfully (read as: profitably) sensationalizing the whole thing.

It’s also a shit-fucking world where this clown is the one that gets to keep producing videos.  Fuck Spanfeller.

Guess you can’t keep a shit person down. I keep telling myself, “surely the people who still support this asshole are just kids.” And then that makes me feel simultaneously better and worse.

Also, Laura Shigihara is a fucking treasure. You guys knocked it out of the park with this and her!

We released this trailer on April 1, 2009, a few weeks before PvZ launched. In those days we did almost NO pre-promotion of our games. We only began marketing/PRing them when they were actually available to buy. So when this crazy video was sent out, it was the first most people had heard about the game, and everyone,

You left out the main thing that made PvZ popular

Popcap.com

From 2000 to about mid-2002, I worked at one of Popcap’s competitors. I designed and programmed around 15 different games of varying complexity and originality. Some were existing games reskinned, others were brand new gameplay (like we had a turn-based online soccer boardgame for 2 players... that was a lot of fun).

The internet is fine, PEOPLE are the mistake.

Social Media in particular. Nothing like giving the equivalent to a nuclear powered megaphone and a handy directory of shitheads with agendas to fuel your moronic tendencies.

Fuck Zuckerdick and his goddamn ‘basket of oily rags and book of matches’ making machine in particular though. The massacres in Myanmar is gonna

The internet was a mistake.
