Oh, yeah, that's cool. My comment was directed at Insane1. Your usage of the phrase "This woke me up." seemed appropriate to me.

Oh, yeah that's not allowed any more. I guess you didn't get the memo. :/
You've never heard of people taking showers to "wake them up"?
Yeah, defintely. I think it was most clear when tipped the oncoming truck over. Such a troll...
Yeah, that or the fact that he just missed death by like a few seconds.
You do realize that waiting isn't something that requires effort right? It kind of just happens with the passage of time...
It's clear that haven't understood my point. I'm comparing the instability of the Internet as infrustructure for games to the inherent uncertainty of life. If a game is on the Internet, it's true that something could happen in the future which would render you incapable of playing said game. However, my point was that…
How is that an apples and oranges comparison exactly? Both are unforseen and uncontrollable circumstances which would render you incapable of playing your games. Looks like two apples to me. Or perhaps you're just incapable of abstraction.
You want certainty that you'll be able to do something in the future? Unfortunately, that's not possible, as we're still unable to control our own death.
Metal Gear's story is a mess. Hideo Kojima might make great stealth games, but boy, dude also needs an editor.
Nope, not the only one. I loved the story of every single MGS game. They were a little convoluted, but that just adds to the awesomeness of it all.
Actually, you may want to double check that. IIRC, the first one was awesome and the sequels sucked mightily.
Interesting. How would my experience of the game in the past been influenced by events that weren't going to occur in the future?
HL2 was only 2/3rds of a game? Wow, that's crazy. I can't imagine how it could have been better.
Are they though? Maybe I just have weird tastes, but I've met many peoplen who are much more attractive. They're all good looking, but also kind of average. I personally wouldn't say any of them are at the extreme end of the spectrum.
Interesting, I was definitely expecting them to be better looking. Certainly, they're all well above average, but I don't think any of them are exceptionally attractive. Am I the only one?
Umm, you do realize we are talking about the words prounounced with an American accent? Considering that's how Conan speaks.
That's actually a decent point. Apparently Norway's second largest prison has like 250 people in it. They all get flatscreen TVs and shit. While that may be a good system for Norway, I just can't imagine it would scale out to accomodate the population of a country like the United States.
Well, it takes all kinds I guess...
Keep look. They're there.
