HORSE SNAKE PLANE

We had a Toyota Cressida towed into the shop once for a no start. The air filter box was completely filled with dry dog food. Apparently, some critter was stealing dog food and storing it in the air cleaner box. The fix was cheap (remove dog food), but the tow to the shop was like $90 bucks.

My freaking BMW doesn’t have an oil temp gauge and it pisses me off. Instead I got a very vague and apparently incorrect (readings from OBD2 prove otherwise) MPG sensor. I have a straight 6 RWD manual, why do I give a flying hoot about MPG. Let me know when I can blast some heat its sub freaking 0 outside. Oh, wait I

Not everyone lives where there is always traffic to pace to.

that only exists digitally, with no physical representation to back it up

You could buy THREE of these for that kind of money. Blue German wagon and this one’s even a manual.

dude its Friday.

Burying of live monarchs still permissible.

Wake me when he drops it to $8,999.

As a dude who digs old Mercedes, this wagon has been on Craigslist in every city across America for the past six weeks. A low-mileage one is a unicorn, but they don’t have the appeal of the w123 wagons. He can’t get his asking price, apparently. And if what you’re selling is cool but not selling, your price is too

I am with the folks from the ‘70s. I always wear a seatbelt when I’m driving somewhere, but there are times where these systems annoy me. Here are a couple of examples off the top of my head:

Not one early Cadillac Cimarron in Stranger Things. So disappointing. :P I know there are some low mileage, pristine examples out there. A few years ago, if I’d had the scratch, I could’ve bought a lot of 6 of them from different years. One had the rare D’oro package with only 25,000 miles. IIRC the seller was only

Not exactly the same car at all but a buddy and I went a few states over to pick up a car and I got a 2015-ish Hyundai Sonata. By hour 4 the phrase of our road trip was it’s Sonata bad car. (We were impressed and a little sleep deprived.)

The optional 2.7 V6 in them can be a bit leaky, but absolutely bulletproof if you do the timing belts.

I never knew it was RWD!

You don’t look for something specific, you fire up Craigslist and find whatever cheap POS fits your bill, has a current smog cert, and doesn’t smell too terrible on the inside. Then beat that hooptie ‘til the wheels fall off.

E46 330i? If you get a well-maintained example, this is a perfectly reliable DD, but can also be a lot of fun on the track. AWD if you really want, but RWD / manual would be easier to find, probably. And I’m sure you could get a nice one under $10k. You could probably get a good E9x for under $15k, actually.

BMW’s would also technically qualify as imports. I have a 2009 335i, and while they can be unreliable, if you do your homework (and get an inspection), you can probably get into a clean(ish) one for around $15K.

Not even close. Tesla’s cars are hugely profitable. They turn around and spend those profits on capex for new capabilities. That’s not taking a loss on a car, that’s just good business. But hey you could always short the stock. Myself and many others would be happy to take your money.

I don’t have any questions.
