I am curious as to why you felt the need to qualify your E90 as one “without sunroof”....

Deal. I’m claiming all the working DISA valves right now...

For manual transmissioned cars, the 128i is far rarer. Mine is a manual 128i with the sport package and no sunroof and that’s it. Still haven’t found another. Wouldn’t trade it for worse weight distribution and higher maintenance for 60ish more ponies.

I’m keeping my ‘09 328i Sedan with the sport package for as long as it will possibly exist. If I have to hoard N52's in my back woods, so help me god...

Take the Abarth from the list above, it’s pretty simple, I don’t see why it shouldn’t be working in 30 or 40 years if right now we have running Aston Martin Lagondas with all the bells and whistles on the dash still functioning.

Mmmmmm. “The last naturally aspirated [model]” seems like a running theme with “stuff people actually want.” Same goes with “without electric steering.”

For all the F-Type fans out there. Actually just finished working on this today.

The BMW E9x/E8x last generation of naturally aspirated smallish BMW’s and they have hydraulic steering.

Assuming there are any left in one piece in the future, I would have to say the OG Ford Raptor with the big V8 in them. I can see people driving these like they do old lifted 1960s/70s pick-ups, around sand dunes and beaches for years and years to come.

umm...

So he makes these crazy builds all the time? Where are pictures of his last 12 builds?

e39 m5. Buy a clean one and it will be reasonably reliable. Sure there are faster cars, more luxurious and even better looking ones. But nothing does everything like the e39 does. Even paying for an occasional repair is not as bad as dropping money on a depreciating car. The e39 is rock bottom and climbing.

For Pete’s sake, you’re coming from a GT500 and they’re recommending a Genesis. I didn’t realize this was Granny Drivers ‘R’ Us.

Tom is on track.

The Cubs won the World Series last year and our president is Donald Trump. I think Hell is still frozen over.

Ugh. Don’t listen to any of them. Can you imagine how pissed your kids will be once they learn you got rid of a Shelby GT500 for a Hyundai? Oh the humanity! A KIA minivan? Kill me now.

He wants something that’s a little more luxurious, that’s not too old or unreliable. The Magnum is awful on all counts.

i dunno.... 2012 porsche panamera?

  • Mr. JasonH: Listen to me. Tom, look, when I was a kid...when I was a little boy, I always wanted to own a Shelby. I wanted drive a Shelby more than anything in the world. I made my arms short and I roamed the backyard...and I chased people at Cars and Coffee, and I growled and I roared. Everybody knew me and was

That is I think, a 77 or 78 F-series. My Dad had a ‘78 F-100 Explorer, and the wider side grooves disappeared with the ‘79 or ‘80 model. Dad’s truck didn’t quite have the twin turbo option, more like about 98 horsepower.

Looks like the new build is an older F series truck:
