It's not the Sunday morning until the sun comes up!

Chris Rock is one of my all time favorite comedians but putting him ahead of so many SNL greats on the basis of his time on the show is just ridiculous.

Apparently you're not alone, I checked the comments on the article and 90% of the top comments were complaining about Norm's ranking. I wonder if he sent people to the article.

The NBC Experience is mostly hard drinking.

Hey, you've still got 1 year left to become Jessica Williams!

This article does a good job of addressing the fact that we often have a very narrow idea of what the role of a journalist is. It's interesting that I would have assumed that questioning a politicians claims would be more "objective" than accepting them unquestioningly but there's a lot of room to debate what

Definitely, a shame that such a great film got torpedoed by bad timing.

He's definitely been honing a personal style but I feel like he's also getting better at using his "twee" stylings to tell more mature stories.

I loved the imitation game but Ava DuVernay deserved that spot.

Agreed.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed you referring to Vince Vaughn as "the dude from Swingers who wasn't Jon Favreau"

A year ago I would have said she doesn't have enough experience, but looking a their roster now I'd say it's worth a try.

I love Fey but political comedy isn't really her thing and it's probably for the best that it isn't.

For some reason I have never read that before, all I can say is holy shit.

YES! Thanks for pointing out the communal nature of the old roasts. Now it's just the same four roasters, one up and comer and a handful of dancing with the stars rejects.

Something I think to myself at least once a month…

Was this a real thing? I can't find anything about it, except for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the Golden Globs.

Looking at the history of various productions it's amazing how close a lot of good movies come to being terrible.

"A story about an alienated loner abandoning her life for the desolation of North Dakota don’t exactly scream 'hold me closer' to a stranger."

My thoughts exactly when it comes to ambitious train-wrecks. There's a reason why I count Southland Tales as one of my favorite film experiences.
