Kinda neat that Jack Black narrates the movie, since his mom was an actual NASA engineer who worked in the Apollo program.

I could not see any justification for the PG-13 other than the smoking.

Adorable and sweet. Made me feel warm and happy, but also slightly sad. Also old.

Have you seen the film? It’s not especially sloppy. It held my interest. That said, I have a pretty decent attention span.

“Pleasant mindless fun” is a pretty good way to describe it. It’s not going to redefine how you look at movies, but it’s fine.

She’s in it a lot. You get plenty of Karen Gillan from the first scene to the last.

It would be inexcusable if one were supposed to sit in a theatre seat. It works fine when sitting at home on your own couch with the ability to take a brief “intermission” whenever you need to.

This is sort of what it is. No one involved is supposed to be on the top of their game, and they know it.

Watched this last night. As predicted, a reasonably pleasant way to spend a Friday night and sometimes quite funny. So sorry to hear this. He is a great example of an actor who could be absolutely outstanding when properly cast. Some of his best movies are among, well, the best, in that they are the most reliably watchable and re-watchable movies out there.
