Nah just a bit of money I’m cool with losing that I used to spend on stuff like audiophile equipment. Participating in the action and chaos of early 2021 gave me way more enjoyment than any of the expensive headphones I’ve bought. And calling it all a scam is too reductive. There’s projects all along the spectrum of…
Checksums can be spoofed.
It’s incredible how far BTC has come, that strangers from all over the world can participate in an economic layer not backed by any government. It’s already more trusted and has a more dependable value than certain national currencies like the lira and bolivar.
There are certainly nuanced takes on why investing in crypto isn’t a smart thing to do, but I’ve yet to see any here that can differentiate between a scam and a neutral technology that scammers are taking advantage of.

- It’s both open source and yet not open source... uh how exactly? Is the idea supposed to be that the “official” version is run on the “official” servers? In which case...
I think I’ve spoonfed you enough for one day but enjoy lugging those goalposts around
The reason you need to ask the question over and over without being answered is that it’s clear your not trying to have a good-faith discussion, so nobody feels like attempting a real discussion with you. You can check out this other comment of mine though, which should answer your question (assuming the goalposts…
So what I’m hearing is that microtransactions CAN be used by developers to continue supporting games that people love, but NFTs CANNOT be used for the same purpose because of some fundamental difference... For example Diablo Immortal is an example of how to use the powerful force of microtransactions for evil, but…
