I’m ready to be proven wrong, but I’m not sure Dottie is going to turn out to be anything. I get that she’s a genre actress we all recognize, but I kind of think it might just be a case of a minor actress getting a minor role on the show.

Here’s the pic in case you don’t want to go to Reddit:

You got a click from me for the title alone.

So she spent multiple videos churning up likes, unnecessarily documenting every step or random thought she had, only to finally reveal - a pretty average looking basement. And as was pointed out, it contains her fuse box and water heater - things she really should have looked at before purchasing the house - and both

or the water heater...

Weird that when she bought the house she was never shown the fuse box.

This idea that Superhero movies prevent other movies from being made is so bizarre and so obviously subjective. Fucking Parasite just won multiple Academy Awards! We’re supposed to be in some era of cultural hegemony of the super hero blockbuster and yet a foreign-language film about the evils of capitalism was one of

D’arcy knows WAY too much about the private details of Infinity War and other movies, and the only way she could is if sometime during the five years Thor drunkenly showed up at her place and told her EVERYTHING and that’s my headcanon now.

Even if you’re correct (and I’m sure you are, at least in part), it’s a mitzvah to have some counter programming to the constant stream of alt-right, fascist and racist memes that have infected the internet for the past several years.

Mark Evanier wrote on his blog today that Friedman told the author that he was actively trying to get a job with Marvel, which also explains his Stan mania in that article.

When your personal politics are so far right that late-stage capitalism looks leftist...

I find it adorable that so many Gina defenders are calling Disney a leftist organization.  They aren't International Workers of the World. They are a corporation who's main interest is money.  They clearly see those comments as something that could impact sales.  That's it.  Kathleen Kennedy doesn't want to

In 1993 Autism was well known among mental health professionals, but it didn’t have anywhere near the public profile it does now. In 1993 I don’t think most people who didn’t have an autistic person in the family would have known the difference between autism and being “retarded”. The only pop culture point of

“The Vision probably won’t be resurrected for real, because the Infinity Stone that gave him life is gone.”

I’m thinking that just watching the rest of WandaVision is the key to understanding WandaVision. This is Disney, not David Lynch. They’re going to thoroughly explain every detail.

Her character is not very important to the show. I doubt they even bother writing her off, pretty easy to just have her never show up again.

Literally every character on The Mandalorian is and should be extraneous except the Mandalorian (and Baby Yoda). If anything this opens the show up to introducing someone new for a change.

oh, she was actually good? i was hearing it in the background one day as a family member was watching it. her acting sounds terrible.

Just before we have some of the usual ‘Cancel culture gone mad!’ comments, no, she is not being ‘cancelled’, she is facing the consequences of using a public platform, the internet equivalent of shouting out in the middle of the street, to make questionable comments, and Disney would rather not have to deal with it.

“...but it’s been known he did it because she was pregnant for a long time.”
