>As much as I genuinely hate this progression system, it’s so deeply baked into the DNA of the game that I don’t see them losing it.

So stop playing and even more importantly stop reporting on it.

BF2 is a dead game. Everybody should ignore it.

If I was putting on my game designer hat, I’d guess the cap exists to prevent players from grinding a ton against easy bots for fast credits. If I’m putting on my evil publisher hat, I’m keeping the cap so folks can run on the treadmill longer and get thirsty for our new, revamped microtransactions or whatever.

The

“we heard that you was hitting a cap in arcade mode and instead of actually removing the cap we moved the cap up a bit so we dont hear as many complaints”

Also the reason why we will never see a pure KOTOR remaster either. The money just isn’t there for it.

Or a fact that they were developed for a console designed in 2004

The biology of the Universe 6 Saiyans is vastly different from the Universe 7 Saiyans. They’ve evolved to the point where they no longer naturally grow tails, they don’t bulk up when going Super Saiyan (aside from Kale), and their body shapes are vastly different from the Universe 7 Saiyans, even discounting art

Alternate Universe. There, I explained it for you.

Basically Dragon Ball Z is about a bunch of Asians that can turn into stronger, more powerful white people when enraged.

I don’t know how anybody could have read/watched Dragon Ball all this time and NOT realized that he’s just been making up nonsense from the beginning.

It never occurred to me that people did not consider the ability to go Saiyan a genetic trait of their race. The fact that they have some specific cell that aides in this isn’t shocking and I don’t see how it detracts in the least.

This definitely solves a debate. Not the one about Super Saiyans, but the one about whether Toriyama is completely out of ideas and just making up nonsense or not.

So you’re telling me that a group of people with the right special genes can become amazingly powerful blonde-haired super men, a superior race over their genetically-inferior counterparts?

You can still buy PSN/Xbox/Steam credit with cash at retailers. So you don’t necessarily need a credit card to pay for Microtransactions in games. Kids can just save up their allowances to buy credit at stores.

I guess you’re not familiar with the fact that the world is full of irresponsible parents with either too much money and/or like to blame others for their mistakes.

You know, it’s quite fitting that EA would be the one to over-extend and get actual politicians to look into this loot box bullshit. Congrats to them for being so horrible that people finally noticed.

well the thing with things like MTG and baseball cards are that you are buying a physical item(s) which you are then fully able to trade/sell to others. Most, if not all, of the loot box systems games use do not have any way to trade items with other players to get the skin/whatever you want, and also all stuff from

I think the difference is that People playing MTG or things like that know from the very beginning what they are getting into and it is an intrinsic part of the game and I assume it is F2P other than buying packs, whereas EA is trying to do shit surreptitiously.
