Okay even if this is bait I can’t stay silent. WTF, are you kidding? Ignoring the fact that due to the sheer amount of crap happening over there, they might not even have the staff that’s needed for it and Kyoto itself isn’t doing to good, this was clearly done out of respect to those affected, today probably isn’t…
Just look what it did for Ogdenville, Brockway, and North Haverbrook.
This is a very Bears move. They’ll have the ultimate Bears team - mediocre/serviceable QB, some offensive playmakers but not enough and a solid D with incredible talent at LB. I guess the Raiders decided they want to build through the draft (again).
This guy has rage issues. Big Ben is a bit different.
I liked it
I feel like most people not from the US or Europe can easily understand this sentiment. SO MUCH of everything in culture feels like is dropped on the rest of the world, culturally speaking, by the US and Europe.
That IS lucky!
Oh, tell us more about unreasonable outrage, guy who imagined a backlash in order to bemoan it. See if you can work the phrase “female actress” back in there while you’re at it.
Justifying stealing is pretty easy really. There are a ton of times when it’s immoral not to steal, this isn’t new. But I think describing the specifics here can still be helpful so that ROMs aren’t just seen as a cheapskate’s way to play a game for free but rather for archival purposes.
I’m reminded of the Mother series - not Mother 2, released as Earthbound legitimately, but Mother 1 and Mother 3.
There are tons of lost books, movies, and other forms of art that disappeared solely because it was illegal to make copies and the people responsible for them didn’t care and allowed them to be destroyed. It’s a travesty that we continue the trend, and have added video games to the garbage pile.
Can I buy a new copy that benefits the original creators/publisher? if yes, then rom is bad. if no, then rom is ok as long as you don’t profit from it.
It’s hard to find much details but it seems like he was a programmer? The Battlefield Wiki says: “Refraction Games was founded in 1998 by Johan Persson and Patrick Söderlund, who had been working on developing the Refractor Engine since 1993.” They created the Battlefield franchise and were purchased by DICE.
Aw c’mon, I bet he went to meetings and nodded decisively like a champ.
What? Are you positing there’s a reality where authentic DC animated cartoons (which are fine and much better than authentic Marvel cartoons, and definitely better than DC live-action cartoons) are *better* than The Venture Bros.?
Of course she’s a thing. Did you mistake her for being human?
Looking forward to Trump calling for a mass-boycott of insulin.
Finally! I’ve always gauged the completeness of Smash by whether I could play every character from Captain N: The Game Master. If we allow Peach to stand in for Princess Lana (due to the pink, obvs) then all we’re missing is a giant, floating Game Boy and Captain N himself. What do we think are the odds on that one?
