Update: "Firefly Online" Facebook page purportedly owned by DarkCryo today was revealed to actually be owned and updated by The Yes Men.

I know! I saw that feature earlier when it popped up. I love seeing these roundups, since it's so hard to watch the feeds as they come in, and the "Most Popular" list never catches all the best content. It seems to be ranked more by individual Yeah's and comments, so you'll end up with posts where someone just wrote

This deserves to be a much larger and expanded feature on Kotaku. The Miiverse communities have already taken on lives of their own in the short time they've been around. Youtube is a thriving whiteboard of meme's and viral video doodles, and the Netflix section has become a house of tributes to every TV show you can

"We're talking about what's going to happen in the next console cycle or two."

How can I pose a counterpoint to an article that has no factual basis? Literally the only point backed up in the above rant by any solid source is his claim that consoles are sold at a loss to the manufacturer; and while true, he ignores that this is ALSO true for makers of smartphones, tablets, PC's, or any other

Please, point me to any "details" in this article. Where are the numbers? The statistics? The links to other sources of information which confirm the claims this dingus is trying to make? Literally the only detail he backs up with a source is the fact that most consoles are sold at a loss to the manufacturer, which is

Putting in a little disclaimer at the end doesn't remove the obvious bias of the article. The guy chose his path through the industry and is now trying to validate his career choice through an editorial claiming the other side will be killed off.

Data Point: This article about "Why Mobile Gaming will Kill Console Gaming" was written by an employee of a mobile gaming developer.

Nope. It's legit. Welcome to the nightmare world of Pinwheel, the early 80's precursor to Eureeka's Castle, and the main reason Nickelodeon even exists at all.

Now playing

Geez, this reminds me something you'd see on Pinwheel. Freakiest damn puppets ever.

"OWW, my freakin' ears!"

Hopefully, someday, Angry Birds will finally die out and something much more deserving of mobile gaming's top spot will take its place.

Actually, I have Little Inferno and Nano Assault Neo. Both of them are awesome. Haven't tried Chasing Aurora, though... it didn't look all too interesting.

Oh, I'm not complaining at all about the physical releases. I have 9 games total on the system and love all of them. Well, except one... Epic Mickey 2 was a terrible disappointment since it forces you to use the tablet rather than a Wiimote/nunchuck, which was obviously how the game was designed to be played.

Comin' up on two months now into the Wii U's life, and we're still stuck with the original update to the online store. I got a couple online cards for Christmas and haven't had anything to spend them on yet.

Protip: A game doesn't suck just because you suck at playing it.
