Mile Eight is the BEST PART of the whole race. It’s the section in Boys Town and it is a total party (as much as you can party running a marathon). I’m jealous of those two!

Erin: I am surprised (and consider you super lucky) that you encountered the chaffing only after 20 miles. Any run over 10 miles - and the shower after turns into a screaming, pain filled nightmare for me!

The peanut butter flavored Gu is pretty good. The Salted Caramel Gu is also a good one. I’d stay away from any of the citrus-y ones. Blech

I have to ask this because I had to stop watching due to a totally annoying feature on this episode. It was the voiceover that seemed to be voicing for someone who is blind. The voiceover was basically telling you the gestures just made by the Sharks.
