I love him for when he tried to act like he didn’t know who Heidi Klum was and his response was “Claudia and I have never heard of her”. Whenever I see Claudia Schiffer on TV shilling that cheap ass shampoo - I always think of this stupid quote.

Streaming is great when you can't get a strong radio signal and aren't at a place where it is easy to access your…
Agreed. It sounds to me like it's more about transparency to the artists. And getting a bigger cut by knocking out the middleman. But for the consumer, there is not anything here that is any better than Spotify. I can discover new artists on Spotify or Pandora.

It's almost like she is self conscious or afraid to put her opinions out about something she values. She has some great writing when it's a subject that she is slightly distanced from. I wish I had your awesome perspective!!! I'm older (mid 40s) and I STILL harbor some resentment over things my mom said that were weight focused and very hurtful
Yes - the married guy thing is a BIG sign of no self-confidence. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. She wasn't a very good friend at that moment. I hope she's a better friend now.
Self-five for both of us!!

my world too!
It's not on you (as I know you know) - it's on them, the people that feel the need to qualify their complements. It's mean and it's spiteful.
This sounds a lot like my mom. I'm sorry that happened to you.
I know how you feel. It's a downward spiral when you start to feel bad about yourself then it saps your energy and that makes it impossible to try and do anything about yourself which in turn contributes to sapping your energy and so on.
