Not to mention 'Route 666' (aka the one with the racist car)
typically guys only have friends that are girls because they want to sleep with them.
Shadow of Modor? Not a sequel. Isolation? Not a sequel. Sunset Overdrive? Not a sequel. The Evil Within? Not a sequel. Neither of the 4 are multiplayer focused at all, either, and I believe only Sunset Overdrive actually has it as an option.
Eh, I can't even bring myself to hate him. I mean, he seems like a nice enough guy, I just don't like his 'style' of LP.
Oh man! That's not even the weirdest 4th wall break in Gremlins 2. Halfway through the movie the reel "breaks" and we cut to "the theater" where it's revealed that Gremlins have sabotaged the projector. Then Hulk Hogan gets up and challenges them to a fight.

Even though video games are still a relatively new media, it's interesting to observe that the medium has emerged largely out of nations with colonialist histories—ie, Britain, Japan and the United States, and that it's still primarily those cultures that dominate the authorship of its general canon.
A shame you didn't read it then. The main point wasn't to say it's racist or that devs have to do things a certain way. It merely pointed out these facts and painted the idea that there's a rich source of unused folklore and culture settings that could be used in future games rather than the stereotypical "ya mon" and…
Or like this:
So would we say it's more like this:
