Hear hear! Even a "bad" Bioware game holds more interest to me than many "good" games from other developers.

"Blah blah blah Everybody should only like the same games I do! And inversely, if I don't like a game, nobody should! all those who disagree with me are sheep!"
I disagree. I've always preferred the Smackdown series. The N64 games were rather painfully boring imo.
Glad to see Ubi picked up the south Park game. But what about the WWE license?
"More tomorrow".
No, you lost me right at "What if those were....real...attached you know?".
Not bothered by this at all. I can understand the outrage when this happens with a multiplayer game. But somebody being able to buy weapons and play Rambo: First Blood (In Space!) doesn't effect my game save at all. Chances are, I'll just run through using nothing but the plasma cutter again anyways. Like it said in…
I see spoiler alerts done the way I did it all the time. I'll just keep doing it that way. Be glad there was one.
"The marketing for Alice: Madness Returns was dark. The game itself, though, was mostly just strange, with a dash of quaint. Why the disconnect? Well, according to the series' creator American McGee, it's all EA's fault".
Spoiler warnings ahead!
Do shapeshifters who turn into dragons count? I feel Flemeth and Maleficent should both be on this list.
Tiamat was also in FFXII, though she unfortunately did not have her many-headed look.
Hence the entire point of having a Beta. It isn't supposed to be a preview of the full game, you're supposed to help the developers recognize and fix bugs. Complaining a Beta is buggy is like complaining water is wet.
Hmmm. I may have to give it another shot then, and just force myself through the beginning. Your first impressions and feelings on it at the beginning pretty much mirror what mine were, it just sounds like you got further then I did before I gave up.
Don't understand all the outrage, but maybe that's because I've never played a demo that was an accurate representation of the whole game.
It gets that much better? I still have the game and have recently contemplated trying again.
It's been a while at this point, but I'm confident I can say I don't think I finished the first disc. I just couldn't seem to get into it.
I'm not sure why Lost Odyssey gets the love it does really. It was a very boring game.
I don't disagree. FF9 is still my all time favorite game. But I don't feel "Not as good as" automatically makes it horrible. The XIII series isn't my absolute favorite in the FF line, but I still feel it gets shit on way too much.
I liked XIII, and absolutely loved XIII-2.
