Yea, no thanks. That means I'd never get awesome things like Undead Nightmare or The Fallout 3 expansions. You can keep that never for yourself.
Wow, some of these play times are absolutely insane. 500+ Skyrim hours, 600+ Team fortress hours, etc. But the most mind-blowing one is the nearly 1000 hours of Dragon Age 2. Phew.
Holy crap! i loved me some DA2, but I can't imagine putting nearly 1000 hours into it.
Not at all. This sounds absolutely incredible. Can't wait to see it.
The price point really isn't that huge. People act like 60 dollars is some unheard of number, when quite a few games came out for much more than that back in even the SNES days. And if the other AC games are anything to go by, I'd say this is going to be worth that 60 bucks and more.
And if they announce it after launch, they receive a torrent of "but I already traded my copy in!". So tell us oh wise one, what is the magic DLC announcement window?
Damned if they do, Damned if they don't. Had they waited until after release, even a month, this thread would be filled with people saying "Oh too little, too late Ubisoft. I already traded my copy in". They only announce these things ahead of time to slow the tide of trade-ins.
Undead Nightmare was pretty much the same kind of thing, and it is simply the best piece of DLC made in my opinion. I have no issues with this whatsoever.
But even if not, it could simply be because none of the white staff dressed in a way that the company found inappropriate. Just because something effects only the blacks in a workplace, doesn't mean that it was done because they were black. the company could simply be looking to improve their professional image, and…
I do understand, he was dressed in what his bosses found to be the hip-hop look. But you can only claim it was a racist action if they only pulled in the black people dressed as such, and not the whites who were wearing a similar style.Or said something specifically that references that they hate the fact that blacks…
Sorry, but you're completely in the wrong here. Thug existed as a word long before that style of attire existed. Thug always meant a violent criminal type. Batman beat up hundreds of white thugs in the 50s. It never had a racial connotation until hip-hop culture adopted the name. And a white guy wearing the same…
Not sure. I've heard it for a while, but yes I've only ever seen the term itself used by gamers. And like I admitted, it was anecdotal evidence. But most non-gamers I know outside of the elderly like my grandmother at least seem to know what the gamers amongst us are talking about. Maybe it isn't like that everywhere.…
I'm going to wait this one out and see if any new information comes up before I really choose where I stand on this. On one hand, I've worked at companies where I could wholly believe the kind of talk he claims is happening exists. On the other, I've witnessed firsthand someone get fired for legitimate reasons and the…
Okay, I'm going to take a step back here and try approaching this again, because I think I may be getting more heated than necessary, and if so, I apologize.
Stepping on gamers? Really? Trying to distance themselves from the awful section of the community is now stepping on gamers? You can climb down from your crucifix anytime.
And death threats feature into these constructive criticisms how?
Sorry, but I applaud Nintendos decision on this one. Get as far away from the term gamer as possible. It isn't the neckbeard stereotype that causes many people who play video games to steer away from identifying themselves as gamers. It's the horribly negative and "it's all about me!" attitude.
And 9 blows them both out of the water.
Holy f*cking sh*t this is quite possibly one of the stupidest comments ever written on the internet. Seriously, are you so non versed in the english language as to not know the word hack has meanings besides the computer term? DO YOU KNOW WHAT A DICTIONARY IS? HAVE YOU HEARD OF MULTIPLE DEFINITIONS?
