It's truly less about COD itself, and more about it's impact on the industry. People like to point out its popularity as the cause for the deluge of so many other FPS games on the market, and for the "COD-ification"of many other games such as the most recent X-COM ( I'm pretty sure that's the one I'm thinking of)

It still amazes me that people can take a nice gesture like Bioware handing out free time, and turn it into another "FUCK YOU BIOWARE!" situation. I understand that they could have worded it better, but they didn't have to give anybody anything.

This pony thing was alright until it invaded my home. My daughter watches it all the time now. And I can't walk through my living room without seeing freaking ponies everywhere. On the tv. All around the floor due to toys.

Does the condescending attitude automatically come with a purchase? Or can I just leave that out?

It is definitely worth it in my opinion. You get all 6 or 7 seasons , plus both of the full length animated movies they made.

I honestly think you're one of the few people who does deserve a star. You don't go on rage benders. You don't troll. I've never seen you sling any mud anybodys direction.

That's about what I paid for it.

Now playing

I realize it's rather late in the life of this TAY, but I just have to say how happy I am that I was talked into going to the mall this morning. Walking through the place I spotted the familiar face of Daria peeking at me from the dvd rack. I had no idea they had released the entire series in one collection.

Because everybody plays Mario for the story. And everybody plays Assassins Creed for the combat as opposed to the wonderful blending of fiction with history, interesting characters and the chance to climb all over.

Somehow, I'm not surprised. The stigma of "games are for kids" just won't seem to go away.

Now see, this I can get behind. They could have given a bit of warning like they do with the ME3 MP every week. A simple "Hey guys , get those characters to 50, we're giving something special away at the end of the week!" would have gone a long way here.

Is there a way to have it play more than just samples? I've only been getting like 30 seconds of each song.

I understand that it could have been worded better. I still see no cause for the outrage though.

No, I say "So what?" So what that they gave level 50 players free game time. How does that in any way impact your gaming time? It doesn't. It was a nice gesture made by Bioware, one they didn't have to do at all.

Insults again? Are you twelve? Didn't realize I had suddenly found myself on XBL.

You can think what you want of me. They made a nice gesture that many players got to take advatage of, and yet somehow they're still horrible people because not everybody got it. Boo hoo.

Neither, and nice job with the name calling. I read the article. People are mad that other people that aren't them are getting free time they aren't getting. The world keeps on spinning.

People truly will find anything to complain about, especially when it comes to Bioware. At this point I think they could hand out free cash and people would complain that "my bill was too crinkled. I expected fresh bills. Fuck you Bioware!"

Nothing wrong with fanboyism. It's when people push their preferred choice as the one and only correct choice that it gets irritating.

Don't you think Sony would come out and say so if that was the case?
