they won’t even realize it was their fault

Trump’s America

it’s “carton from norwell”

i agree. i didn’t think alvarez looked out of sorts in any of the press events leading up to the fight. i do think, though, he let conor occupy the majority of space in his brain. to me, that’s the biggest thing with whoever he fights (except nate). his opponents worry far too much about him instead of themselves.

eddie was completely ineffective in closing the distance without getting hit with conor’s left counter. after the first shot i think eddie just flat out panicked. his takedown attempts after that were from miles away. conor’s takedown defense has certainly improved but that type of shot at this level is a hail mary

it sounds funny but i literally think about this on a weekly basis.

tyson talked about his mom doing this to a boyfriend in his book

is this a funny post or serious post?

great fucking goodell rant

“and i’m like ‘fuck you, larry lucchino”

i thought the TD’s did a really bad job handling the situation. they allowed kassouf to get that far without referencing a correct rule each time they spoke to him. they never properly intervened once the table began attacking him.

in phil gordon’s book he said something to the effect that the 4 bet always means aces. maybe it was the 5 bet. either way, in this situation, if kassouf cared to continue playing he should’ve folded the hand and patted himself on the back when he saw the laydown on TV (bc you knoooow he’ll be tuning in to watch

i was saying the same thing; the final table coverage would have been excruciating. this a-hole is just trying to sell his ‘brand’ now.

the shot he hit against georgetown to win the big east tourney remains the craziest, scariest and probably least-deserving-to-go-in shot i’ve ever witnessed. (the kid for carolina hit a similar shot against villanova last year) ray was one of my favorites.

not surprised by the trade but i am surprised by the return. i would’ve thought you’d get a player to add value now at another position of need (OL, DB, RB possibly pending lewis’ return).

this could be a book or a movie.

2:40pm EST and Mike Felger is complaining about length of the game. was going to mention him in my original comment but wasn’t sure you’d know who he was. hopefully you’ll google him.

was thinking the same thing last night watching them. red sox fan/boston resident here. reminded me of the ‘03/’04 teams that really wore pitchers out. leads to long games (which people dislike) but a very effective offensive approach.

building code minimum is commonly 34". often times, as a design decision, the min is selected. if someone coming down steep steps who loses their balance that railing serves more as a lever than a way to stop someone from falling. i’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often, honestly.

same. i’m like... i wanna love that dude. but then i think about the same hands that nearly decapitated nog and sent glover’s tooth flying to the moon have also been applied to a woman who, presumably, trusted him not to do that.
