is this a texas thing? my boss is from dallas. she has used the phrase “eat his ass out” twice now when i believe she meant “chew his ass out.” i haven’t corrected her because it would be too uncomfortable - more uncomfortable than hearing her say she was eating ass.

previously i had no interest in a GSP/TWood fight. after seeing woodley fight a more conventional opponent for a title defense (bc maia and thompson are so unique) i am now on that bandwagon. obviously i want to see him smash covington to pieces but i think the GSP match up becomes more intriguing.

i was lucky enough to attend and witness this in person. the tackle was impressive. the young man was quite proud of himself upon removal and the fans were very excited to have witnessed all of their efforts.

i thought it was odd that an announcement wasn’t made immediately on monday like detroit did with patricia. smelled fishy.

i fucking HATE dudes that sign emails with a signal initial

felger is not a boston sports fan. he’s a guy from wisconsin who found a home here after covering the patriots as a beat writer.

related story that i’d forgotten happened to me until i saw this: i went to woodstock 99 when i was in high school. it was a close group of friends and a few not so close. by way of the not so close friends one person who joined us was the son of aerosmith guitar player brad whitford. aerosmith had been slated to play

gaethje is the eddie alvarez we have been robbed of in the ufc. a guy with a pedigree for violence as a champion in a previous promotion who decided to play it safe in the big show. i’m thankful as a fight fan gaethje did not go that route for the sake of ascending for a title shot. i do hope, however, that gaethje

i don’t enjoy seeing top pros play course conditions like these. if you find yourself in a position like na illustrated you’re in an impossible situation. i’d rather see great shot making decide a tournament than simply someone who screws up the least. augusta national plays the same virtually every single year -

i also appreciate that she’s being pro-active about her career outside the octagon. she talked about ‘building her brand’ recently. while some may see this as selling out i am a proponent of any and all fighters maximizing their return on the time they have to be relevant in the sport. jose aldo was a great champion

why can’t there be a singular governing body that oversees these types of things instead of leaving them up to individual state cmx’s? this is the 3rd (?) time in the last handful of cards that there’s been something controversial or confusing about the up/down opponent rule being used.

that sounds like an appropriate moniker for kush

regardless of the poor shooting they were still in a position to potentially win the game had they executed a fundamental taught in elementary school.

i agree with this 100%.

i am a patriots fan. i am a tom brady fan. i will be rooting hard for the bad guys on sunday. nothing makes my stomach turn quite like the idea of trump slobbing the knob of TB12, RKK and BB from now until they visit the white house. it will just be one more reason for people to hate the patriots. in this regard, i

further proof dogs are the best.

i recall this, also. if your wife has kids she gets called ‘mom’ around the house. my fiance’s mom refers to her husband as ‘dad’ around the house when talking to the kids.

i think it’s been interesting how many times they’ve used the word ‘special’ about this team. they’ve had two major events happen this year that could’ve destroyed a team - the brady suspension and trading collins. it seems pretty clear to me that bill sees the mental toughness and continuity that they’ve lacked in

i was going to say the same thing - their defense has been smashing people and that makes me super bummed out for the inevitable missed opportunity.

they aren’t paying attention anymore
