Yes I think so too. Especially since she is the most likely next president. Though I don't know if Republicans can see that, and even if they can, I don't know that it matters. They are so wrapped up in making decisions based on their own immediate political opinions that they can't see towards the future.
In the scheme of things I know this is relatively unimportant, but her hair looks really good in her mug shot. I wonder what kind of conditioner she uses? Perhaps the blood of her mother’s enemies?
Violent attacks are becoming a staple of current politics.
Yes - they’re exactly like that - according to Dahlia Lithwick, the Senate Republican leadership told Obama that if he could guarantee them Garland, they could guarantee a confirmation - AFTER the election of the Democratic candidate. But if a Republican wins the election, all bets are off. So Obama called them on…
The Senate could stall on the nomination well past the election, but then decide to vote on Garland when Obama is actually in the lame-duck phase of the presidency. This is actually what some GOP Senators are claiming they plan to do.
Step one: DON’T PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE, YOU DRIVELING HEATHEN.
interesting how we got “obama caved and picked a conservative” from “i would have preferred someone more progressive but i support the president”
Saw the author was HamNo, assumed the answer was to watch society crumble around you, then use those crumbles as a sweet topping.
you do realize there’s a BIG difference between stonewalling the nominee (which is what the republicans are doing) and winning the general election, then asking the sitting president to withdraw his nomination that’s being stonewalled by the republicans, right?
Seems fair. Wouldn’t mind if Clinton came out with something similar.
Meanwhile, the GOP’s like “Garland’s fine and we’ll probably ok with him as soon as Clinton is elected POTUS kthxbai.” :|
Why do we need a cloture vote if there are no hearings and no fillibuster?
To me she looks like Jamie Pressley from My Name is Earl.
At least Olivia Wilde isn’t as bad off as Jaime Pressley. Hollywood decided she was too old to be Jaime Pressley so they went and found Margot Robbie instead.
Insiders claim director Martin Scorsese once described Wilde’s face as “that of an unsuccessful and hungry mammoth hunter.”
All we need to defend the country is to keep repeating how great we are. I mean, it’s probably worth giving a lot of money to defense contractors, but there’s no need to pay our veterans anything beyond lip service.
it’s only lead poisoning if you believe in it...
Yep. The majority of the retractions aren’t “I was raped, jk just said that for fun!”... they might be more like, “I was raped, now I’m ostracized in this small town, my parents think I’m sullied and dirty, and I’m getting harassed by people who think it’s impossible that the rapist could do such a thing.”
