You have an awful lot of faith to believe that the writers decided “boring” was a great idea for a season opener.

Couldn’t agree more. The guy who never existed now left a living will? What?
I think it’s more self-absorption combined with a stunning lack of self-awareness. I have social anxiety and I guarantee I subscribed to that only-assholes meme for a while in my younger days. That’s just lack of confidence and low self-esteem.
It’s manhood that’s more than half-fledged, while stopping short of being over-fledged.
Mass murderers, by definition, are not nice guys.
It’s tough to hang The Green Lantern around the neck of the director. People tend to forget all about the screenwriter when a movie is great, but just as often forget about them when it’s awful. Producing is even more of an aspect in something this big - whoever’s wearing that hat is shaping the whole thing.

“...this year’s guest editor, the fluidly-genred Native American writer Sherman Alexie.”
Agreed. I think the obvious way to go might be with everyone a bit older and Jack Jack (overpowered as he is) going bad and the family having to come together to pull him back.
I mean, just look at all the money she’s saving the county by not printing marriage certificates.
Not even Daniel Baldwin - the most mountainy of Baldwins?
It embiggens my heart to hear this.
